[ Brief Introduction of Production Line ]

Cold-pressed oil is fed into the oil press without heating or low temperature before pressing.

The oil extracted from cold pressing oil has a lower temperature and lower acid value, and generally does not need to be refined, and the finished oil is obtained after precipitation and filtration.

Virgin oil usually refers to the virgin oil extracted from animal and plant oils, which has not been refined.
\

It feels like they're the same, but why are the names different?

Cold pressed oil features:

1. Cold pressing process: cold pressing oil is processed without heating or low temperature before oil pressing, the extracted oil temperature is low, the acid price is low, generally do not need to be refined, after precipitation and filtration can be obtained.

2. Oil yield: The oil yield of cold pressed oil is relatively low, generally only about 50% of the hot pressing method. Using the sinoder oil press can reduce the oil content of the oil residue by about 10%.

3. Appearance: cold pressed oil retains the natural flavor and color of the oil, generally showing a clear and natural color.

4. Taste: The taste of cold pressed oil is not as mellow as that of hot pressed oil, and the oil taste is not so rich.
\

Virgin oil has the following four characteristics:

1. Contains a lot of impurities, easy oxidation deterioration, can not be stored for a long time.

2. It is likely to contain residual pesticides, heavy metals and other pollutants.

3. When cooking and heating, foam, odor and oil smoke are obvious, affecting the taste and smell of cooking food.

4. The most critical thing is that the virgin oil that is not processed by the refining equipment itself contains substances that are harmful to the human body.

Therefore, the difference between virgin crude oil and cold pressed oil is mostly: the difference in pressing temperature, the limitation of raw materials and the difference in pressing process.

The limitations of cold oil pressing are higher, and because of the different pressing process, the oil extraction can not be maximized, so the oil yield of cold oil pressing is much lower than that of hot oil pressing.
