[ Brief Introduction of Production Line ]

Single Pass /Triple Pass Rotary Drum Dryer

Sinoder’s Rotary Drum dryers are used particularly in the mineral industry. Their main features are high throughput rates and the ability to process solid materials with widely differing granulometric properties. It can dry the material such as sand, slag, clay, fly ash, coal, iron powder, quartz sand, and ore and so on. Rotary drum dryers have the option of multiple shells to include cooling in the machines process and reduce space consumption.
 
 
Take the Sand Drying Process Project for example:
In 2009, an old customer from Xinzheng, Henan called us that he had planned to lanuch a new river sand drying project, our sale manager Mr.Sun finally design a complete 3tons per hour sand drying solution. The solution adopt our new type triple pass rotary drum dryer system. This solution save more space than single pass rotary dryer system.
Initial moisture content varies 40-65%, finished moisture content be less than 2%. The capacity is discharged 3 tons/hour. The heating fuel is coal or wood. When the machines delivered, the technician come to guide the installation, trial run at site. Three week later the sand drying project was successfully under way.
 
 Sand Drying Process:
Industrial Sand is sent by the belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the hopper, and then the feeding machine feeds the materials to the materials end by the feeding pipe, the inclination of the feeding pipe should be larger than natural inclination of materials. In order to the materials can flow to the sand dryer smoothly. Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder which is slightly tilted compared to the horizon. Materials were added from the lightly high end, and the heat-carrying materials were added from the low-end to enter into a counter-current contact with the materials, but there also has that heat-carrying materials and the material are putted together into the barrel.
Along with the rotating cylinder, materials were moved to the lowest end effected by the gravity. Wet material get the heat from the heat-carrying materials directly or indirectly, during the moving processing in barrel, so as to the wet materials can get dry, then were submitted by the belt machine or screw convey at the discharge side.
In the sand dryer cylinder’s inwall, there has a stiring plate, whose function is that stir the materials up and down, so that the touching surface between the raw material and airflow get large to improve the drying rate and to promote the material progress.
Heat-carrying materials are generally divided into hot air, flue gas and so on. After the heat-carrying materials getting through the dryer, normally it needs to takes cyclone trap the Material inside the gas. For further reduction dustiness in the exhaust gas, the materials should get through the bag dust catcher and wet-type catcher, and then get released.
