Rotary trommel screen mainly consist of motor,speed reducer,barrel devices,rack,sealed cap and outlet.The barrel device is installed on the rack aslope.The motor connects to barrel device via speed reducer by coupling to drive the barrel device rotate around its axis.After material entering into the barrel device,materials on the screen surface will overturn and roll due to the tilt and rotation of barrel device,qualified material(under-size product)will be discharged through the screen in barrel excircle and disqualified materials(oversize product)will be discharged via end of the barrel.Materials blocked in the holes of sieve can be popped out and avoid blocking of sieve holes due to materials turning and rolling in the barrel.
Rotary trommel screen has been widely used for alluvial gold, tantalite, niobite, and tin ore concentration. The major use of this machine is classifying the coarse into two or three grade, and then feeding the material we need into the mineral concentrator.
