Cottonseed oil production line consists of cottonseed oil pretreatment and oil pressing machines and cottonseeds oil refinery plant and solvent extraction for large scale cotton seeds oil factory. Among them, cottonseed oil pretreatment machines include cleaning machines, husking machine, kernel & shell separating machine, flaking machine, cooking machine. And cottonseed oil pressing machine has two kinds: oil press machine and oil pre-press machine. The later one is used to get part of oil from cottonseeds, and then the pressed cake will be sent into cottonseed solvent extraction plant.

1． TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS

2． Characteristic：
Adopt the currently advanced process in the world, and domestic mature equipments.
Ø use air separator to separate impurities from cotton seeds by their differences in pneumodynamics.
Ø use wind net to dedust again, make sure the environmental health in workshop.
Ø Choose stable scraper conveyors, which can reduce the number of conveyor.
Ø use disc hulling machine to hull cotton seeds shell, which is high efficient.
Ø kernel shell separator is done by twin tubes screen, which can make sure the rate of kernel in hull is less than 0.5%;
Ø the crude oil after prepressing should be filtered by oil-dregs scraper at first, then is filtered again by leaf filters, the residual in oil is less than 0.01%.

main equipments list
disc hulling machine： high efficiency ；
twin cylinder screen：
/choose one YFL80-3 twin cylinder screen, which is operated in whole sealing situation, which has high efficiency, low power consumption, non-vibration, nice environment condition, low noise, easy maintenance.
Embryo-rolling process：embryo-rolling means a certainty granularity of soy lamella was prepared
for flakes of about 0.3 mm, the oil of raw material can be extracted in the shortest time and maximum, and residual oil was less than 1%.
Pressing process: after cooking, the flakes are moved in to screw oil press, where the 50% oil will be extracted. The cakes thickness is less than 17mm, residual oil is less than 14-18%. The cakes will be moved to solvent extraction workshop.
Filtering process: the crude oil from oil press includes many impurities, which needs to be separated by scraper conveyor and oil settling tank, then should be filtered again in leaf filter. Thus the impurities in oil will be less than 0.2%.

Cottonseed oil refinery plant is a necessary part of cottonseed oil mill plant. Because crude cottonseed oil cannot be directly used by human if without any farther refining process.
Cottonseed oil is extracted from cottonseeds, whose fatty acid profile generally consists of 70% unsaturated fatty acids and 26% saturated fatty acids. In cottonseed oil, there is gossypol, which is a toxic, yellow, polyphenolic compound. The final cottonseed oil should be eliminate the gossypol content.
